2. Contact form and e-mail

When you contact us, we process the details you provide: name, company, e-mail address, country, topic and your message. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a contract follows or statutory retention periods apply. Our hosting and e-mail provider processes the data on our behalf within the EU.

3. Language selection based on your location

When you open our start page, your IP address is used in real time to determine your country, so that the website opens in English, German or French. The lookup takes place on our server using an IP-to-country database or, if the website is delivered through Cloudflare, the country supplied by Cloudflare. The IP address is not stored and is not used for profiling.

4. Web analytics (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how visitors in different markets use our website. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data such as pages visited, approximate location and device information. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Local storage in your browser

We store your language choice and your cookie decision in your browser's local storage. This is strictly necessary to provide the functions you requested and does not require consent. You can delete this information in your browser settings.

6. Server log files

Our hosting provider automatically records technical access data (for example IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type) to operate the website securely. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
